Coaching Policies

For individuals considering or currently engaged in coaching with Bella Rose Wellness.

Scope of Practice — Coaching vs. Therapy

Bella Rose Wellness offers life coaching, not therapy, counseling, or clinical social work.

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process focused on the present and future — helping you clarify goals, build habits, and move forward in areas like personal growth, wellness, and life transitions.

Coaching is not:

  • Psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment
  • A service that diagnoses, treats, or creates clinical treatment plans for mental health or medical conditions
  • A substitute for care from a licensed therapist, physician, or psychiatrist

Bella Rose Wellness was founded by Eleese Rawlins Morton, MSW. Her education and professional experience in social work inform the values, ethics, and evidence-informed approach she brings to coaching — but coaching itself remains distinct from psychotherapy or clinical social work services. Full detail on this distinction is provided in the Coaching Agreement & Informed Consent document signed before your first session.

Appropriate Fit for Coaching

Bloom Coaching is generally appropriate for individuals who are:

  • Seeking personal growth
  • Working toward wellness goals
  • Navigating life transitions
  • Building healthier habits
  • Improving work-life balance
  • Developing boundaries
  • Increasing self-awareness
  • Seeking accountability

Coaching may not be appropriate for individuals experiencing severe mental health symptoms or who require clinical treatment. If coaching is not the most appropriate service for you, a referral to a licensed professional may be recommended.

The Bloom Framework™

The Bloom Framework™ and Bloom Level Scale are educational and coaching tools designed to encourage reflection and support personal growth. They are not diagnostic instruments and should not be interpreted as mental health assessments or clinical evaluations.

Scheduling & Cancellation Policy
  • Coaching sessions are scheduled by appointment only.
  • Please provide at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
  • Missed appointments or cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee or forfeiture of the session, as outlined in your Coaching Agreement.
  • If you arrive late, your session will still end at the scheduled time to respect the appointments of other clients.
Fees, Payment & Refunds

Payment is required before coaching services are provided unless otherwise agreed upon.

  • Completed coaching sessions are non-refundable.
  • Digital products, downloadable resources, journals, worksheets, and educational materials are non-refundable.
  • Refund requests for prepaid coaching packages will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with the Coaching Agreement.

Insurance: Bella Rose Wellness currently operates as a private-pay coaching and wellness education practice. Insurance is not accepted or billed at this time. If insurance reimbursement becomes available in the future, updates will be posted on this website.

Communication Between Sessions

Email is intended for scheduling, administrative questions, and sharing requested resources — it is not intended for ongoing coaching or crisis support. Responses are typically provided within 1–2 business days.

Technology Policy

Virtual coaching sessions are conducted using secure video conferencing platforms. While reasonable efforts are made to protect your privacy, Bella Rose Wellness cannot guarantee the security of internet communications or technology platforms. Clients are encouraged to participate from a private location where conversations cannot be overheard.

Referrals

If at any point your needs fall outside the scope of coaching, this will be communicated to you directly, along with a referral to a licensed clinical provider where possible.

Crisis Policy

Coaching is not equipped to respond to crises in real time. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency:

  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US)
  • Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room
  • Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line)

Full detail on confidentiality, its limits, and mandated reporting obligations is provided in the Coaching Agreement & Informed Consent document, which is reviewed and signed before your first session.

Non-Discrimination Statement

Bella Rose Wellness welcomes individuals of all backgrounds. Services are provided without discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, age, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

Coaching Agreement & Informed Consent

Bella Rose Wellness, LLC. This document should be reviewed and signed before your first coaching session.

1. Founder's Professional Background

Bella Rose Wellness was founded by Eleese Rawlins Morton, MSW. Her education and professional experience in social work inform the values, ethics, and evidence-informed approach she brings to coaching.

Eleese Rawlins Morton is not currently a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or licensed therapist of any kind. These titles are not used to describe her services, and nothing provided through Bella Rose Wellness should be understood as licensed social work practice, therapy, or clinical treatment. While she is not providing psychotherapy or clinical social work services through Bella Rose Wellness, she remains committed to practicing with integrity, transparency, and in accordance with applicable legal and ethical responsibilities.

2. What Coaching Is (and Isn't)

Coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process focused on the present and future — helping you clarify goals, build habits, and move forward in areas like personal growth, wellness, and life transitions.

Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health treatment. It does not involve diagnosis, treatment, or clinical treatment planning, and it is not a substitute for care from a licensed therapist, physician, or psychiatrist.

3. Informed Consent

By signing this agreement, you understand and agree to the following:

  • Voluntary participation. Coaching is voluntary. You may pause or end services at any time.
  • Your responsibility. You are the expert on your own life. Your coach will offer tools, structure, and support, but you are responsible for the decisions you make and the actions you take, both during and after sessions.
  • No guarantee of outcomes. Coaching outcomes vary and cannot be guaranteed.
  • Not emergency services. Coaching is not equipped to respond to crises in real time. If you are experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.
  • Referrals. If your coach believes your needs would be better served by a licensed therapist, counselor, or other professional, this will be communicated to you, along with help identifying a referral.
4. Confidentiality & Its Limits

What you share in coaching sessions is treated as private and is not shared with outside parties, with the exceptions described below. Because coaching is not a licensed clinical service, it is not protected by the same legal confidentiality standards (such as therapist-client privilege) that apply to licensed mental health treatment.

5. Mandated Reporting & Legal Obligations

As a holder of an MSW, Eleese Rawlins Morton adheres to the ethical standards of the social work profession, including those around client safety. She is a mandated reporter. This means that regardless of the general confidentiality of coaching sessions, she is legally and ethically required to break confidentiality and report to the appropriate authorities if a client discloses:

  • Intent or plan to harm themselves (suicidal ideation with intent/plan)
  • Intent or plan to harm another identifiable person
  • Suspected abuse or neglect of a child, elderly person, or dependent adult

Bella Rose Wellness is committed to protecting the safety of clients and others. If information is disclosed that creates a legal obligation to report under applicable law, or indicates an imminent risk of serious harm, appropriate steps may be taken consistent with those legal and ethical obligations.

If you are currently in crisis or having thoughts of harming yourself, please reach out for immediate support:

  • Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, US)
  • Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room
  • Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line)
6. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Engage honestly and openly in the coaching process
  • Take ownership of decisions and actions taken during and after coaching
  • Communicate promptly about scheduling conflicts or concerns with the coaching relationship
  • Seek appropriate licensed care for any medical or mental health needs outside the scope of coaching
7. Coach Responsibilities

As your coach, Bella Rose Wellness agrees to:

  • Provide coaching services with professionalism, integrity, and respect for your autonomy
  • Maintain the confidentiality outlined above, within its legal and ethical limits
  • Communicate clearly about the scope and limits of coaching
  • Offer referrals when your needs fall outside the scope of coaching
